To help spread more awareness on how to live greener, this article will provide sustainable living tips for both the home and the office place.

Sustainable Living at Home

Sustainable living at home depends on the level of sustainability you wish to achieve.  The greenest lifestyle will involve residing in sustainable living homes.

What are sustainable living homes?  Sustainable living homes are designed with minimal effects on the environment.  No chemicals are used in the building process and alternative energy sources are utilized to help power the home.

The easiest way to acquire a sustainable living home is to find a company that builds them.  One example is Living Homes.

Through them you can get one of the most beautiful sustainable living homes available… at least if contemporary designs appeal to your taste.  Created by Ray Kappe, Living Home’s line of houses are beyond spectacular.

They utilize solar power, certified lumber and a flat roof.  The flat roof is the most interesting aspect of the homes, because they are designed like a deck… only greener, because there is an area where you can plant gardens.

Sustainable Living at Work

If you are interested in living more green at work, it is best if you find employment at one of the dozens of sustainable living companies available.  Sustainable living companies, like sustainable houses, also possess greener architecture and construction, but it gets even better than that.  Why?  Well, good sustainable living companies will take things a step further and incorporate sustainability in how their employees work.

This means encouraging recycling, using recycled products, and making sure they adhere to the principles associated with sustainable IT.  What is sustainable IT?  Sustainable IT refers to ensuring that one’s computer use doesn’t interfere with the environment.

To achieve it a sustainable living company would have to make sure they use energy efficient computers.  They would also have to properly dispose of them when they get to old.  If not, the computers could cause environmental problems since sometimes chemicals leak from some of their parts.

Sustainable living companies may also look at the other equation sometimes overlooked in sustainability… the human element.  Sustainable living companies will try to view their personnel as more than just a worker ant.  They will provide many benefits, and encourage an environment of fellowship.

Additionally, they will also be beacons of the community, as they would support or create charity organizations.

In conclusion, if you can live a sustainable lifestyle at home and at work, you would be performing a great service for yourself and the environment.

So, take into account some of what you have learned in this article, and begin the journey into a better and more sustainable life.  In the long run, you will find that such a decision will make you happier, healthier and even a bit richer, since you would save a little on your energy bills.

The Politically Incorrect Guide to Global Warming (and Environmentalism)

The big media have spoken on the question of global warming, and the debate is officially over.

"Be afraid, be very afraid," warns Time magazine.

But have Al Gore and his environmentalist allies really proven their case?

The Politically Incorrect Guide to Global Warming (and Environmentalism) provides a provocative, entertaining, and well documented expos of some of the most shamelessly politicized pseudoscience we are likely to see in our relatively cool lifetimes.
